Campaign Turns!

Campaign Turns are a bit different than normal Battlestations as time flying around and trading on planets is taken into consideration, here’s how they proceed:

1. Arrive at Destination

  • Pass customs if destination is a planet.
  • Complete a mission if destination is a mission.
  • Anytime you complete a mission your luck and special ability pools refresh.

2. Take Port Actions

  • Get paid by the Republic for completed missions.
  • Pay down debt
  • Update clone data
  • Buy and sell gear
  • Buy and sell commodities
  • Look for work.
  • Repair the ship
  • Sign on Freebooters
  • Upgrade – 1 attempt per d6 days

3. Warp Out

  • Check fuel levels (Every 30 days the ship needs 1 Ore, 1 Bio, & 1 Erg)
  • Take Jump Actions (difficulty is Ship Size for 1 + 3 difficulty per extra)

4. Travel

  • Spend free time
  • Take an upgrade turn once every d6 days.
  • Check for interception:
    Crossing a sector border may trigger customs checks. Crossing anything may trigger customs vessels, hyperspace hazards, distress calls, pirate vessels, attacks by Cthulhu, equipment malfunctions, planetary collisions, murder attempts by passengers, & dry-mouth.
  • If intercepted, you’ll have a mission! Unless it is a distress call. Those you can choose to ignore. You monster.
  • Anytime you complete a mission your luck and special ability pools refresh.

5. Arrive at destination
Congratulations! You completed a campaign turn!
